
7 Ways to bring your best self to everything you do
Being your best self means bringing the best version of yourself in any role that you play. It’s walking out of a meeting room feeling like you knocked that presentation out of the park, or knowing that you baked the most delicious cupcakes for your child’s school fundraising concert.
As much as we all want to be our best selves, it’s not always easy. Life’s stresses can limit our ability to be our best. I’ve therefore shared some tips and ways to help you bring your whole best self in everything you do.
- Believe in yourself. If you don’t believe you can do it, no one else is going to believe in you.
- Tap into your purpose. Whenever you need a little motivation, go back to your WHY! Why do you do what you do? Why did you start? Why do you keep going everytime?
- Set daily goals. Setting goals will help you focus your energy and efforts and work towards achieving your goals.
- Stay positive. It’s not always easy but positive energy will keep you going much longer than most people, and it’s contagious.
- Always improve yourself and prioritise personal development. When you stop improving or learning, you stop growing
- Adopt healthy habits. You need the energy – mentally and physically to be your best self. Exercise and introduce other healthy habits in your life.
- Challenge yourself. If it’s too easy or you’re too comfortable, you will not grow. Step out of your comfort zone.
